ECOVER UK SHIPPING, RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

SHIPPING

When it comes to fulfilling your orders, we've joined forces with iForce. They're top notch, picking and packing your fave Ecover products using their super sophisticated stock and ordering system to make sure they have enough of everything you might want from our website.

We'll get your order on its way as soon as we can. Ordering before noon Monday to Friday? We should be able to dispatch it on the same day. But it may take a little longer when we've got our hands full with sales, promotions or public holidays.

Most UK mainland orders take two to three days to reach you after they've left our warehouse. We'll keep you updated and our partners at Yodel will send you a handy text or email with your tracking info. https://www.yodel.co.uk/track

Shipping costs £5.00 for all orders under £40. But if your orders over £40, shipping is completely free!

It's also worth knowing that right now, we can't deliver outside of the UK.

OUR REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY

We want you to be hands-in-the-air-happy with everything you buy from Ecover UK.

YOUR RIGHTS TO A REFUND OR RETURN

1. Your right to cancel (AKA the cooling-off period)

In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, you have a right to cancel an order for any reason up to a maximum of 14 days, starting the day after the day you receive your products.

You don't need an account to place an order, but you do need one to use our refund portal, which you can find in your Ecover account once you've set one up.

2. Faulty or misdescribed products

In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you're entitled to a full refund if the product is:

  • faulty
  • not as described
  • unfit for purpose

for up to 30 days, starting the day after the day you receive your products.

3. Exemptions

Refunds are not available when:

  • the product has been used or damaged after delivery
  • someone hasn't given us sufficient evidence of fault or issues
  • someone makes a refund request outside of the 14-day cooling-off period (unless the product is faulty and covered under the Consumer Rights Act, in which case, you've got 30 days after receiving the item to let our customer service team know)
  • a delivery is delayed or late.

REFUNDS WITH AN ECOVER ACCOUNT

To qualify for a refund, you must:

  • submit your request through the Refunds section of your Ecover account portal
  • log into your Ecover UK account
  • go to Order Details
  • choose Request Refund
  • select the items from your order to be refunded
  • provide evidence of fault or issue, if there is one

When you submit your refund request, you'll be prompted to select a reason from a drop-down menu. Once submitted, the items will appear with as Refund Pending in the Refunds tab of your order history.

Our customer service team will reach out if we need any more info from you.

If successful, we'll send your refund using the same payment method as you used to buy your products. Just give us 5 to 10 working days for it to reach your account.

REFUNDS WITHOUT AN ECOVER ACCOUNT

If you placed an order but don't have an Ecover account:

  • Head to https://www.ecover.com/uk/contact-us and fill out the contact form
  • Be sure to include your order number and tell us about the items you'd like a refund on and why.
  • Our customer service team will check your details and process your refund or let you know about anything else they need from you. They may ask you to provide proof of purchase and photographic evidence.

  • minimal packaging returns.

PACKAGING

We always try to make sure your products reach you in good condition and avoid damage during delivery. So we pad your deliveries with a mix of crumpled recycled paper and cardboard. All plastic-free, and recyclable. But because we hate waste, we do try to keep packaging to a minimum.

However big or small the box that arrives, our packaging is packed with possibilities – a castle for your cat, a seedling bed for the garden, a wendy-house washing machine so your kids can learn how to wash right and waste less… there are loads of great ways to re-use and repurpose our packaging to help it go further.
