The Promoter for this giveaway is Ecover UK Limited. TO ENTER: follow @ecover_uk on Instagram for the duration of the giveaway and Direct Message (DM) us (@ecover_uk with a photo of your oldest Ecover Bottle, detailing how old it is. Enter between 09:00am (GMT) on 22^nd April 2022 to 23:59pm (GMT) on 29th April 2022. After this date, no further entries to the giveaway will be permitted. UK residents, over 18s only. The one (1) person chosen at random from the  successful Direct Message submissions will be contacted via IG Direct Message within three (3) business days of the closing date by the Promoter. There will one (1) winner. Only one entry per Instagram account may be made. The giveaway prize is an Ecover Refill At Home Bundle, including 1x Ecover 5L Washing Up Liquid Refill, 1x Ecover Non Bio Laundry Liquid & 1x Ecover Concentrated Multi Action Cleaner Refill.

By entering this Giveaway (the “Giveaway”), you, (the “Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to change, adapt, terminate or cancel the Giveaway at any time without prior notice and without reasons.

 

 

The Promoter 

The promoter of this Giveaway is Ecover (UK) Ltd, located at SC Johnson, Frimley Green Road, Frimley, Camberly, GU16 7AJ, for the brand “Ecover” (the “Promoter”).

Eligibility 

1. The Giveaway is open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over.
2. Employees of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, affiliates and its agent(s), advertising, promotion and production agencies and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings and spouses of children or siblings) and household members are not eligible.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Giveaway. Although participants will need to have access to iPhone or Android capabilities.
4. The Giveaway is open from 09:00am (GMT) on 22^nd April 2022 (“Start Date”) to 23:59pm (GMT) on 29th April 2022 (“Closing Date”).  After this date, no further entries to the Giveaway will be permitted.
5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason, technical or otherwise.

Entry 

The requirements for participation in this Giveaway are as follows:

• Follow Ecover UK Instagram account (@ecover_uk – accessible at https://www.instagram.com/ecover_uk/?hl=en for the duration of the Giveaway.

• Direct Message (DM) us (@ecover_uk with a photo of your oldest Ecover Bottle, detailing how old it is. For the avoidance of doubt any post is the full responsibility of the entrant and is subject to the Terms of Use of Instagram. The Promoter reserves the right to reject, block, remove or take any other action that it may deem necessary to deal with any entry which it finds to be abusive, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, in violation of a third party’s right, including, but not limited, to intellectual property rights or rights of publicity or privacy, or otherwise offensive or deemed unacceptable by the Promoter in its sole discretion.

 

1. The Promoter will make public any changes to the Giveaway on the entry notices, as soon as possible.
2. Entries that are incomplete will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of data.
3. The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of a participant.
4. Entries must be made by the Participant and must not be made through agents or third parties.
5. Only one Entry per Instagram account may be made.

Prize

1. One (1) box containing the following Ecover product: (the “Prize”)

• One (1) Ecover Surface Cleaner Multi-Action Refill Bottle (150ml)
• One (1) Ecover Washing Up Liqid Refill (fragrance to be decided) (5L)
• One (1) Ecover Non Bio Laundry Liquid (5L)

1. For the avoidance of doubt, there will be one (1) Prize awarded to one (1) winners in total.
2. The total retail value of each Prize will be: £57.94 GBP.
3. The Prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
4. The Prize is not transferable.
5. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
6. The Promoter will not be responsible for inaccurate Prize details supplied to any Participant by any third party connected with this Giveaway.

Winner Selection

1. There will be one (1) winners chosen with one (1) winner being chosen at random from the entries within Ecover’s account. The winner will each receive one (1) Prize defined at 12 above.
2. Winner will be selected at random via an external panel and based on the oldest bottle sent to @ecoveruk.
3. All decisions of the Promoter and/ or its agent are final and binding and are not subject to mediation or litigation of any kind.  The Promoter and its agent reserve the right to verify that the potential winners are eligible and qualified to receive a Prize and may revoke any Prize awarded or designated to a person found ineligible.
4. The winners will be notified by Instagram Messenger (Direct messenger) within three (3) business days of the closing date by the Promoter’s agent. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within three (3) days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner (via the Promoter’s agent). Potential winners may be required to demonstrate control of their Instagram account. The Promoter is not responsible for any change of Instagram handle, mailing address, email address, and/or telephone number of Participants. In the event of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions, or if a Prize notification or Prize is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be contacted.
5. The Prize shall be delivered to the winners by the Promoter within twenty-eight (28) days of the winners’ receipt of notification of their win, provided that the winners have responded to the Promoter agent’s notification communication via Instagram Messenger and claimed the Prize within three (3) days of such notification. Otherwise, any replacement winners selected, pursuant to section 17 of these Terms and Conditions, shall receive their Prize within twenty-eight (28) days of the replacement winners’ receipt of a notification of their win. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Giveaway will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

Privacy and Data Protection 

1. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied by Participants for the administration of the Giveaway and for no other purpose unless given consent. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Giveaway, communicating with entrants and fulfilling delivery of the Prize.
2. Other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions or for the purposes of operating the Giveaway, the details and information provided by the Participant when entering the Giveaway or claiming a Prize will not be used for any promotional purpose, nor shall they be passed on to any third party.
3. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and the Promoter’s privacy policy at https://www.ecover.com/privacy-policy/

 

 

 

General

27. The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Giveaway whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.

1. 28. The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the terms and conditions of this Giveaway.
2. 29. The Promoter will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any failure to receive Entries due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control; (b) any late, lost, misrouted, or damaged transmissions or entries; (c) any computer or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (d) any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the Promoter; or (e) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associasted with the Giveaway.
3. 30. By entering the Giveaway, the Participant agrees to release the Promoter from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway or with the acceptance, possession, attendance at or use of any Prize (except death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence, for fraud, or otherwise as prohibited by law).
4. 31. This Giveaway and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Giveaway.
5. 32. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok or any other Social Network.

33. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the legal validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall not be affected.
