FIGHT PLASTIC WASTE

JOIN THE REFILLUTION

Since 1989, we’ve been encouraging people to refill their plastic bottles. Even back then we knew waste when we saw it.

Recycling is great, but what’s even better is refilling. It’s all about ‘closing the loop’ so we’re working on setting up the right infrastructure and products to make refilling easy, so that one day, refilling is part of our everyday.

How we consume needs to change.

Refill from home, at one of 600+ health and zero waste stores throughout the country, or from one of our innovative new Refill Stations currently in trials at major supermarkets.

THE REFILLUTION HAS BEGUN.
  1. SINCE '93

Bill Oddie helped us launch back in the 90s

We launched our first refill systems here in the UK health food stores back in 1993. They were 25 litre ‘drums’ with a pump. When empty they would be sent back to us via our wholesalers and we would bring them back to the factory in Belgium where ee would wash them, refill them and return to the store. By 2000 our range offered through refills included washing-up liquid, laundry liquid, fabric softener, toilet cleaner and multi-surface cleaner.

  2. MOMENTUM

Shout out to our Health Food Friends

By 2000 our range offered through refills included washing-up liquid, laundry liquid, fabric softener, toilet cleaner and multi-surface cleaner. Although small, we knew leading the way in refill supported by our friends from the Health Food Trade would help shift people’s mindset when it came to reusing. We just needed that moment, that behaviour change…

  3. THE REFILLUTION

Awareness of the issues single-use plastic poses to use as a planet has never been higher.

We as consumers need to change the way we consume plastic, we as manufacturers need to change the way we think about plastic. The moment is now, the movement is here.

    THIS IS THE REFILLUTION

challenging the supermarket system

We want to change the face of the supermarket isle by challenging single use plastic packaging and help shift how people shop for everyday products.

Let’s be honest, it’ll take a while to get there but our new supermarket refill system could change the game.

This is about more than fresh socks and squeaky-clean pots. This is about respecting the planet and looking out for nature. This is about fixing our waste culture and making an impact on our impact. Every basket of laundry and stack of dishes is a chance to shake the status quo. Because we need system change, not climate change. And together we can roll up our freshly laundered sleeves and get this revolution on the road.
