There is white residue in my dishwasher – what is going on?

White residue usually occurs in dishwashers due to a calcium deposit. To reduce that, we advise you to check the settings of your machine. The water hardness should be set correctly in order for the built-in water softener to work correctly and your salt compartment needs to be filled. You can also increase the amount of rinse aid to get better results. If your glasses show traces of calcium, a good wash with vinegar often helps. See if this works and if you’ are still having difficulties after that, speak to your manufacturer.
