Pre Race Day, Ecover’s Environmental Boat Wash a Success! |

LONG BEACH, CA (April 29, 2009) – Ecover, the ecological detergent manufacturer whose slogan is “does the dishes, not the fishes” led sailors into race day with a successful environmental boat washing demonstration last Thursday at the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club, in Newport Beach, CA. |

NEWPORT BEACH, CA (April 16, 2009) – Count on the 62nd Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race starting Friday, April 24, to be clean and green.
The ethic practiced by responsible sailors to leave nothing but bubbles in their wakes will be celebrated with a "Big Boat Wash" staged by a new race sponsor, Ecover, preceding the Fiesta pre-race party at Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club on Thursday, April 23, at 5 p.m.
The boat washing demonstration is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the BCYC dock. Ecover (pronounced eco-ver), the world's largest producer of ecological cleaning products, will provide three attractive brand ambassadors for the demonstration and will have personnel available to answer boaters' questions about its products that promise to "do the dishes, not the fishes."
