Production Method

When you choose an Ecover product, you make a conscious choice for the environment. We thus believe that every link in the social fabric must be related to that choice. Therefore, we also opt for a sustainable production method.

In order to make this all work smoothly, we have developed and introduced an environmental management system to ensure that the ecological character of Ecover is maintained at a high level in the production process as well.

Our Environmental Handbook forms the basis for this environmental management system. It describes the measures that are taken to continually improve environmental management at Ecover and reduce environmental and safety risks in and around the factory. The environmental management system was set up in accordance with the recognized ISO 14001 standard, and it was certified by an external certification agency in December 2000. Since then, it has been controlled annually by external auditors.
