In response to our customers' needs, the introduction of our New Non Biological Integrated Washing Powder offers you an ecological choice without compromising on cleaning performance.

This product integrates our Laundry Bleach (Chlorine Free) into the formula. By adding a bleach activator to the product, the bleach works much more efficiently and means that less is needed per wash than if this was dosed separately, maintaining our ecological credentials.
In addition our customers also told us that they expected our Non Biological powder to have a natural fragrance so we have added a lavender type fragrance to this formula to leave your washing smelling naturally fresh.
As a result of these changes our new Non Biological Integrated formula now performs as well as the leading brands.

This product is also approved by the Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) who tested the product’s performance against leading brands and supermarket own-label powders. |
We understand that some of our customers will still want to buy an un-fragranced product, so we have not stopped making the old formula. We have upgraded this product which is now called ‘Ecover Non Biological Original Washing Powder’ (see below).
Non Biological Original Washing Powder

This is an upgraded version of our previous Non Biological powder. As this product does not contain laundry bleach it is ideally suited to washing colourfast laundry. If you wish to use this product to wash whites or colourfast laundry remember to add Ecover Laundry Bleach for optimum cleaning performance. |
Our ‘Original’ formula is also fragrance free for those customers who prefer an un-fragranced product.

Biological Washing Powder

We have upgraded our Biological powder so this product now also includes our new pioneering surfactant. This product still contains a natural lavender fragrance to leave your washing smelling naturally fresh.

A laundry powder is classed as biological when it contains enzymes. Enzymes are natural proteins that are very effective at breaking down protein and fat stains. At Ecover we use two types of naturally occurring enzymes - Protease and Amylase. To read more about enzymes click here.
Non Biological Laundry Liquid

Our new Laundry liquid formula has been upgraded with our new surfactant and offers superior cleaning and ecological properties. The toxicity of the improved formula to aquatic organisms is ten times lower on average than the toxicity of conventional laundry liquid detergents. |
When using our Non Biological Laundry Liquid to wash whites and colourfast laundry remember to add Ecover Laundry Bleach for a more effective wash.
